We are searching for a PRNBehavior Health Technicianto work in our residential programs located in Covington, LA. A Shift Coordinator applies client rehabilitation strategies, and maintains responsibility for providing minimum to maximum assistance and/or supervision to promote our clients’ success in tasks associated with daily living, recreational activities, and vocational pursuits.
Implements facility wide behavioral training as well as individual behavioral protocols, completing the necessary documentation
Models appropriate behavior provides positive reinforcement and corrective feedback on a daily basis
Assists residents in ADL’s (Activities of Daily Living includes bathing, transfers, toileting and physical assistance), assists and participates in physical, vocational and recreational activities
Transports residents to medical appointments, vocational, recreational, educational activities in the community
Completes all daily needed documentation (i.e. behavioral data, token exchange, shift summaries, house charts, checklists, medication administration records, and incident reports)
Completes all housekeeping chores (i.e. laundry, vacuuming, dusting, etc.)
Requirements:
A high school diploma or GED is required
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must have a valid driver's license and responsible driving behaviors must be maintained
Ability to lift 50lbs
