Join our team of competent and compassionate professionals as a Senior Clinician in the New Viewprogram at Behavioral Health Network!
Your experience, knowledge and great skills will support the New View program with the following:
Supervising clinical program staff to ensure service coordination for individuals served, including the completion of comprehensive intake evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and treatment plans.
Effectively leading to a multidisciplinary team in a positive manner.
Providing individual and group treatment to individuals served based on sound clinical theories and principals, involving pertinent family members and providers, as appropriate.
Completing comprehensive risk/crisis evaluations and acting to ensure the safety of individuals served and the milieu.
Providing orientation & regular supervision to clinical staff, including completing annual performance appraisals in accordance with BHN policy.
Overseeing treatment planning progress for individuals served & managing caseloads.
Maintaining strict confidentiality of individuals' information in accordance with HIPAA & 42 CFR Part 2 at all times.
Completing documentation for individuals served and for staff on a timely basis in compliance with applicable rules & regulations.
Participates in the on-call rotation for the program.
Who are we?
The New View program at BHN serves female-identified patients who have been civilly committed through the Section 35 court proceeding to a designated substance use disorder treatment facility. The program offers acute treatment services (ATS) and clinical stabilization services (CSS).

What are we looking for in a Senior Clinician?
Commitment to empowerment and growth, human rights, and community integration for individuals served (required).
Bachelor's Degree in related field (required); Master's Degree (preferred).
At least three years of experience working with the above populations (required).
Knowledge of substance use, group work, psychotherapy, family/systems dynamics, and pathology.
Broad knowledge of mental illness and substance use treatment techniques (required).
Experience with women or individuals that self-identify as women recovering from trauma and violence (required).
Working knowledge of DPH Bureau of Substance Abuse regulations (required).
Familiarity with internet, word processing and email systems (required).
Willingness and ability to treat challenging and diverse patient populations.
Cultural competence in dealing with patients with a variety of different cultural backgrounds.
