Job Description:

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for an Accounting Auditor.


Position type: Full-time Contract

Duration: 5 months

Location: Philadelphia, PA


As an Accounting Auditor, you will:

• Planning, coordinating, and creating the documentation of the internal controls of the Plan and its subsidiaries by utilizing flowcharts and/or narratives.


• Planning, coordinating, and performing the testing of established controls.


• Utilizing data analytics during the planning and execution of planned audits to help achieve more comprehensive coverage of risk mitigation.


• Making recommendations based on the review and testing of internal controls.


• Communicating the adequacy of established controls and recommendations for control enhancements to management via reports, memos, and presentations.


• Assisting in the follow-up of the status of recommendations made in previous audit reports.


• Utilising audit and computer software to complete assignments.


• Maintaining proficiency in current audit/investigative standards and procedures and keep abreast of technology trends.


• Working on multiple projects concurrently and complete all engagements within the allotted time budget.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent work experience.


• More than three years financial or integrated audit experience in a public accounting or corporate internal audit setting.


• Knowledge of auditing accounting systems, flowcharting and statistical sampling techniques.


• Master's in Accounting or CPA or CIA certification preferred.


• Previous experience with Microsoft Power Bi or other analytics software preferred.


• Previous experience leading or performing financial and operational audits independently.


• Previous insurance or healthcare audit experience preferred.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:

Pay Range*: $48.00 - $50.00 per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
