Systems Engineer - Lenel Certified Associate 620-383
We are seeking an experienced Systems Engineer with a Lenel Certified Associate (LCA) certification to support the lifecycle sustainment of Navy Regional Dispatch Centers (RDCs) and associated Public Safety Systems (PSS). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintaining, troubleshooting, and securing enterprise-level IT and Operational Technology (OT) systems, specifically focusing on Lenel and similar systems.
Responsibilities
Systems Sustainment: Provide technical support for Navy-wide IT/OT initiatives, including systems like Lenel, AMAG, and DMP SiS. This includes maintaining software support agreements, ensuring connectivity, and integrating systems with enterprise monitoring services.
Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Address system outages, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate with OEMs, program-level support personnel, and base-level communications teams to resolve technical issues efficiently.
Cybersecurity Compliance: Implement and ensure adherence to cybersecurity principles, supporting Information Assurance (IA) initiatives and maintaining compliance with Navy cybersecurity directives and Authority to Operate (ATO) requirements.
Engineering Support: Provide expertise in system administration, including applying updates, conducting scans, and managing configuration changes to maintain the system’s cybersecurity posture.
Integration and Upgrades: Assist with the procurement, integration, and testing of new or replacement hardware/software components, working closely with program personnel to document, register, and administer local assets.
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT/OT systems engineering, with a focus on Lenel or similar access control and security systems.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in system administration, cybersecurity compliance (IAVA updates), and integration of IT/OT solutions in a complex environment.
Security Clearance: Must possess or be eligible for a Top-Secret clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).
