Embodying the rich heritage of Southern hospitality, the historic hotel features 504 rooms, over 60,000 square feet of meeting space, and five (5) food and beverage outlets. This includes 2 restaurants, a café, seasonal rooftop bar, and in-room dining.

What will I be doing?
The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for assisting the Director and Assistant Director of Human Resources in the overall management of the employment process in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and to maximize profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Recruit talent to the hotel to fill established staffing guidelines
Manage hotels J-1's program from initial application to new hire onboarding
Develop, utilize and maintain recruiting resources including, but not limited to, internal job postings, job hotlines, agencies, organizations, schools, online recruiting sources and publications
Ensure all Equality Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action guidelines are met and documentation is kept for applicant flow, requisitions, employment applications, dispositions and job postings
Perform initial screening interviews with and assess qualifications of candidates in relation to open positions
Organize and manage the recruiting process including, but not limited to, entering data, systems use and management, requisition processing, maintaining job descriptions and training team members in interviewing techniques
Administer pre-employment processes including, but not limited to, drug testing, background checks, employment verification, etc
Assist in the preparation of periodic reports including, but not limited to, labor turnover, Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action
Oversee function of the data management system to include, but not limited to, entry of team member data, recording employment transitions (i.e. hire, separation, leaves of absence, etc.), generating reports (i.e. payroll analysis, labor turnover, etc.) and processing unemployment claims
Assist with team member relations programs, activities and initiatives to include, but not limited to picnics, holiday functions, health fairs, award banquets, and special events.
Manages daily Human Resources operation to include, but not limited to, interviewing and hiring, employment and recruiting, training and development, wage/benefit compensation, team member and employee relations, disciplinary procedures, workers compensation, safety, recognition and reward and performance evaluations.

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS
EDUCATION
High School graduate or equivalent
EXPERIENCE
Minimum of two-years previous human resources and supervisory/management experience. Previous hospitality experience, highly preferred.
