Nabors Drilling Solutions is an oil and gas service company and a division of Nabors Drilling Technologies USA, Inc.  With offices in Alaska, North Dakota, Northeast, Wyoming, East/South/and West Texas, we are positioned to service both the North American and International marketplaces. Our workforce, like our technology, is rapidly expanding and looking for a Summer Intern – Performance Products.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

The Summer Intern – Performance Products is responsible for developing understanding of automated drilling services within their assigned area and tracking data sets to show performance & value. They ensure NDS Performance Drilling technologies deliver maximum value by engaging the customer and closely working with drilling and remote operations, as well as training groups and technical support.

·       Performance Products Operations

o    Provide drilling performance analysis including interaction with customer and field personnel to obtain information as needed.

o    Actively contribute to the development of the Performance Drilling Knowledge Base through improvements to the tool as well as data entry and analysis.

o    Provide support to drilling operations during field trials and develop sufficient knowledge of the applicable Drilling Performance products with the drilling contractor and operator.

o    Create reports for internal and external distribution to document value of the products and recommended next steps in technology adoption.

o    Track and report active job and trial activity. Work with all required functions in the organization to ensure adequate staffing, resources and support for current operations; anticipate future needs for the same in close collaborations with Geo markets.

·       Sales Support

o    Support account managers and operations managers during sales calls and customer visits including technical discussions, product presentations and product training.

o    Identify, validate, and qualify opportunities for application of NDS technologies.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS

·       Understanding of the drilling process

·       Strong analytical skills; Demonstrated ability to develop analysis spreadsheets and reports

·       Effective verbal and written communicator

·       Experience in drilling operations and drilling performance roles

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

·       Experience in drilling operations and drilling performance roles

·       Proficient knowledge of Spotfire and PowerBi applications

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS 

·       Occasional travel will be required (less than 20% of time.)
