This exciting opportunity is full-time and permanent with Converge Technology Solutions. The Solution Specialist is responsible for the revenue and margin growth within the North/Central Region, with a heavy focus on professional and managed services. Strong farming skills paired with a strategic proactive approach are key for this role. The position will be supporting the Digital Workplace go-to-market strategy focused on technologies that support end-user experience and engagement. Our core technologies include solution positioning internally and externally for End-Point Device solutions (and their entire life-cycle), End-user productivity solutions (like Microsoft), End-user Collaboration solutions (to include Cisco/Microsoft Cloud calling, collaboration and video conferencing solutions) and any adjacent technologies that support our mission of improving and maintaining customer experience and engagement.
Duties:
Become a trusted liaison for account executives, vendor partners and clients alike within Converge's Digital Workplace practice
Partner with existing clients to understand their current and future Digital Workplace needs
Devise and deliver strategies per unique client along with a go-forward plan to obtaining renewals and new business
Build account awareness with the appropriate account executives based on consistent information obtained from the client side
Be the Converge brand ambassador for Presales Solution Architects and Channel Partners like Microsoft and Cisco
Maintain and lead solid, reliable, consistent communication with sales, sales leadership, practice leadership and our aligned partners
Qualifications:
4+ years of experience in technology sales; Overlay Specialist, Customer Success, Account Management, etc
Thorough understanding of sales engagement, management and reporting processes
Experience working across the sales channel including building, growing and maintaining tier 1 and tier 2 vendors in the region
Problem solving mentality with a focus on integrity and doing what is right for our clients and the business
Understanding of End-User device life-cycles, Microsoft Modern Work solutions (M365) to include/but not limited to; MS Teams, the Office Suite, SCCM and Intune/Auto-pilot, Sharepoint/one-drive and Copilot
Understanding of collaboration technology solutions in the market and the value/benefit of the uses within an organization
Must be proficient with MS Excel and have a baseline understanding of financial cost management
Ability and desire to learn how to understand, apply and correlate Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and Return on Investment (ROI) selling strategies
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Work Environment
Remote, work from home (within North-Central region of United States)
Occasional travel to regional office for strategic meetings or for client meetings
