Wood's Consulting business is currently searching for an Engagement Lead - Digital Maintenance to support our Team in Houston, Texas. The Engagement Lead - Digital Maintenance will support the development and delivery of Wood's premier Maintenance and Spare optimization solution called maintAI as well as other digital solutions developed by Wood. maintAI addresses our clients' issues related to Maintenance Strategy, Overdue Backlog, Spares and Asset Reliability Twin.
The role supports both our clients and internal team, acting as a focal point in maintAI projects and deployments between the client and the project delivery team ensuring that the project outcomes are aligned with client expectations. The role requires a mixture of both interfacing, project management and technical knowledge.
They are responsible for developing and transitioning key maintAI projects across the Americas with reference to the systems, workflows and deployment governance setup by the wider product team. They contribute to the continuous development and upgrades to the maintAI global product by producing solutions to the complex strategic, contractual, technical, commercial, operational and personnel related challenges which are required to deliver transformational maintenance value to our clients and return to Wood.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Growing the digital solutions deployed in the region (including maintAI) by leveraging our global expertise.
Participate and facilitate client workshops, reviews and lessons learnt sessions.
Project management activities of deployments such as holding client meetings, creating and managing project schedules, general stakeholder management, update and progress reporting, and issue and solution discussions with clients.
Development of technical reports and ability to work towards and meet deadlines.
Understanding of the Energy industry and can network and form strong relationships.
Demonstrate understanding of the client's overall problem and iteratively generate frameworks or solutions.
Actively participate and champion a strong workplace culture focused on team success.
QUALIFICATIONS
BSc or BEng degree in either Chemical/Electrical/ Mechanical/ Instrumentation/ Industrial Engineering discipline or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years' experience in industry work experience delivering digital solutions, or consulting experience focused on operations, and/or growth initiatives in the domains of oil and gas, mining, chemical, or manufacturing, reliability, and maintenance.
Highly desirable is direct experience of analytical techniques applied to maintenance and reliability systems to understand performance and opportunity for optimization.
Minimum of two years experience in customer-facing communication.
An interest in Digitalization, digital reliability, maintenance and application of automation and AI techniques to deliver value at pace
Strong experience in stakeholder management including the management of challenging interfaces and developing strong customer relationships.
Knowledge of reliability and maintenance processes including Criticality Assessments, Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA), Reliability Centred Maintenance Studies
Experience of implementing successful project performance improvement activities and techniques for recovering poor performance
Must be US Citizen, or authorized to work lawfully in the US, without sponsorship from Wood
