The successful candidate for this role will demonstrate the ability to partner broadly with the line of business to achieve success. This role requires a team member with strong relationship management, influencing, analytical, product management, and delivery skills. The role requires a sense of urgency, passion for results, and personal accountability for achievement, while making decisions based on a mixture of analysis, experience, and judgment.
In this role, you will:
Consult and provide guidance on the development, implementation, and monitoring of significant matters regarding strategic approaches, effectiveness of support function, business performance improvement opportunities, and helping to manage the risks for the applicable business functions
Utilize thorough knowledge of the business unit's functional area or products to support strategic initiatives for the business
Responsible for support functions and/or operations/production oversight, usually for multiple business groups within a Line of Business
Functions supported may include policy/procedure administration and adherence, systems/change initiatives, information security, business continuity planning, capacity planning, legal and regulatory adherence, SLA negotiation/development, reporting and analysis, process improvement, quality management, and communications
May present to executive management on business performance and recommends strategies to implement changes and improvements
May consult on process execution matters for risk policies/ programs, business process risk/ control assessment at process level
May conduct, execute, or manage risk assessments, ad hoc reviews, quality activities, issue intake process, remediation process, and exam management
Participate in a variety of assigned and ongoing business operations to ensure success in meeting business goals and objectives
May provide work direction to lower-level staff
Determine areas of strength or Business Execution opportunity within defined scope of work
Utilize independent judgment to guide moderate risk deliverables
Review and research strategies and action plans to establish effective processes while meeting performance metrics and policy expectations
Drive decision making and problem solving based on analytics. Leverage conceptual thinking skills and influence business leaders based on rigorous analytics & credit risk management
Collaborate and consult with members of the Auto Operations Strategy team and Operations team leaders to drive strategic initiatives
Required Qualifications:
2+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
Experience in strategy and analytics
Experience providing consultation around strategy and participating in projects and initiatives
Ability to assess issues, make quick decisions, implement solutions, and influence change
Ability to develop partnerships and collaborate with other business and functional areas
Ability to provide leadership by coaching, training, and mentoring
Knowledge and understanding of audit, regulatory compliance, or risk management
Ability to identify risks and propose mitigation plans
Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Knowledge and understanding of auto lending practices, policies, and procedures

Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
