About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Agency Loan Deal & Securitization Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in executing and managing agency loan deal transactions and securitizations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the securitization process, particularly in the agency loan space. You will support a portfolio of securitization transactions and products in an asset management capacity and perform Portfolio Management functions associated with monitoring the performance of a multifamily loan throughout its life, commencing with the initial funding and continuing until satisfaction of the debt or transfer to a special servicer pursuant to investor guidelines. This role involves a wide range of responsibilities, from execution of deal documentation to portfolio management and risk analysis. In this role, you will:
Manage the securitization process
Coordinate and communicate with the securitization team to ensure smooth execution of the securitization process
Monitor, analyze, and report property level operating performance, risk ratings, perform property physical inspections/assessment of on-site management staff/local market conditions, watchlist monitoring, and processing of lender consents
Serve as the primary relationship contact for the Borrower/ property management agent, providing customer service, first-line management and due diligence of the loan portfolio in compliance with investor requirements
Review and negotiate deal documentation for accuracy and completeness including the pooling and servicing agreement and sub-servicing agreement
Work closely with the legal and internal teams, including compliance teams, to ensure adherence to all servicing standards and regulatory requirements, including those from agencies like Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac
Respond to various internal and external inquiries and requests for information
Stay updated on industry standards including regulations and best practices
Prepare periodic reports for internal stakeholders
Be involved in special projects, such as system implementations, process improvements, and due diligence reviews as needed

Required Qualifications:
5+ years of Commercial Real Estate Portfolio Management and underwriting experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Skills:
Exceptional understanding of mortgage finance and securitization principles
Advanced understanding of agency loan products
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Experience with loan servicing and asset management
Proficiency in relevant software, including: Excel, PowerPoint, and specialized securitization software
