In this role, you'll consult directly with clients, manage intricate projects, and drive business process improvements using your extensive knowledge of the software development life cycle (SDLC).
This senior-level role is responsible for end-to-end project or program management throughout the life cycle of software/system development projects. You will lead project teams to deliver completed projects/services, consult with clients on business goals, and ensure alignment with client needs and priorities. This position demands a thorough understanding of SDLC processes and tools and requires managing concurrent projects/programs of varying complexity, often spanning multiple regions, functions, and business units.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Conduct end-to-end project management for multiple large projects and subcomponents of larger programs.
Lead cross-functional teams to complete deliverables within specified timelines and budgets.
Identify key stakeholders and develop strategies for executing high-value projects.
Define project scope and objectives, delegate tasks, and establish master timelines.
Manage projects/programs that are complex, span multiple business units, and require high-level analysis and planning.
Work with external vendors and internal stakeholders to champion projects across the organization.
Develop detailed work plans, schedules, estimates, resource plans, and status reports.
Conduct project/program meetings, track progress, and ensure adherence to quality standards.
Integrate vendor tasks and review vendor deliverables.
Provide technical and analytical guidance to project teams.
Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and leadership.
Manage key vendors within the IoT Product portfolio, including contracts, deliverables, negotiations, change requests, invoices, and road map planning.
Job Contribution:
Provide senior-level technical expertise.
Serve as a subject matter expert on AT&T technologies.
Education and Experience:
Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, Math, or Science, or equivalent experience.
PMP Certification desired.
Typically requires 5-8 years of experience in project/program management.
Supply Chain Management background and/or experience is preferred.
