This role is responsible overseeing the overall product strategy, vision, and roadmap for our BISCO silicone product lines within the Elastomeric Materials Solutions business unit to ensure customer needs and business objectives are met. This role will also manage product development projects, pricing, and promotion to achieve overall financial and market objectives by monitoring and proactively gathering customer and market needs to guide product development activities, provide appropriate value selling tools/training, and global forecasting for the responsible product line.
Essential Functions:
Product Line Management & Development: Management of the division product line life cycle including all elements of revenue and profit growth, business planning, execution and reporting. Execute market and product strategic and annual planning, portfolio positioning, product line expansion, global pricing, technology road mapping, while working with customers, segment leaders and regional directors to address global market needs. Product line ownership by collaborating with cross functional teams to ensure product line goals and objectives are met with maintaining positive working relationships across the organization. Provide product line sales and operations planning support including capacity planning, business cases for expansion and optimization of existing capital resources.
Pricing: Responsible for implementing pricing strategy including managing price lists, final decisions on custom product pricing. Leads the value pricing analysis and recommends pricing strategies for new products, and interfaces with sales to roll out price changes and new product pricing.
New Product Development: Collaborates with R&D to accurately translate customer needs to product features to ensure a timely launch. Provide voice of customer feedback throughout the development cycle. Liaison between engineering and design teams to ensure successful product delivery that meets quality standards and timeline.
Competitive Intelligence: Responsible for monitoring competitor activity. Routinely conduct research on primary competitors to understand their product offering and marketing strategy. Identifies and assess new potential competitors in current markets for products.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business or related field. May consider equivalent work experience in lieu of degree. MBA with concentration in Marketing preferred.
10+ years of industrial product line management experience or combination of product line management and technical sales experience.
Experience conducting market research and analysis.
