Reporting to the Controller, the Senior Accountant is a member of the finance team responsible for grant management, AP, and GL functions. As it relates to grants this position must provide technical and administrative management of all grants ensuring accurate documentation and reporting of grant expenditures and compliance with grant requirements such as submitting timely and accurate grant applications and working with program leaders and their staff to develop budget information for new grant applications, reconciliations, and analyses in an accurate and timely manner. Tactical responsibilities include monitoring grant compliance, tracking and documenting all grant spending, managing accounts receivables and accounts payables for grants and initiatives, and providing all financial reporting required by grantors, Humanim leadership, and external auditors. AP duties include EFT and manual check processing along with GL duties to include month end journal entries and variance analyses.
