Essential Responsibilities:

• 3 years of work in a collections-related field is required. Auto loan collections experience preferred. 


• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.


• Working knowledge of collections programs, processing procedures, and requirements.


• Excellent communication skills and proficiency in using common and complex software applications, including (but not limited to) Microsoft Exchange Server, Active Directory Services, altering tools, security models, networking protocols, database theory and language, etc.


• Ability to learn and understand business processes related to software use, internal controls, security, and technology.


• Ability to exercise independent judgment to analyze and diagnose application-related problems and issues.


• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail.


• Effective time management skills, including prioritizing responsibilities and organizing work tasks.

Your day-to-day:

A Senior Collector will closely monitor accounts for delinquency, reach out to members through various channels to negotiate repayment plans and resolve payment issues, investigate the underlying reasons for delinquency, maintain meticulous records of all interactions and agreements, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies across the team. This role will assist with escalated cases when necessary, guiding other collectors, and consistently seeking opportunities for process improvement to optimize collection procedures and enhance member satisfaction.
