Job Requirements
Expectations: Neuro IR nurses assist with cases: stroke interventions, cerebral angiograms and associated interventions, thrombectomies, and circulating as the RN to assist during the case.
Interventional Radiology (IR) cases include: moderate sedation when needed, specimen collection with circulation, working with Interventionalist and IR tech.
Organ biopsies, GI Bleeds, paras, Thora's, angiograms, Line placement, dialysis catheter (tunneled and non-tunneled), UFIE's.
Schedule Information
Monday through Friday 0700 to 1630 Four nine-hour shifts. Day off is rotated
8 on-call shifts overnight in a 4-week period for Neuro and IR. Dual modalities rotated
30 min arrival time for Neuro/60 min arrival time for IR
Weekday is Monday through Thursday beginning at 1630 until 0700 which is 14.50 hours
Weekend is Saturday and Sunday 24 hours, back-up rotation, every 3rd weekend.
