Description:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Experience: 5+ years in software engineering with proficiency in Java and/or JavaScript, Spring Framework, GIT, and JIRA.
• Cloud Services: 2+ years of experience in developing and deploying applications using native cloud services from Azure, GCP, or AWS.
• Technical Skills: 3+ years working with technologies such as API Gateways and Azure Service Bus.
• API Development: 3+ years of experience in designing, creating, and consuming REST APIs, with documentation using Swagger and OpenAPI specifications.
• Automation: Familiarity with automation technologies for testing, building, and deploying code (CI/CD).
• Data Security: Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with data security standards (HIPAA, PI, PCI).
• Communication: Strong communication skills for interaction with internal and external users.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ownership: Manage API Gateway, Azure Service Bus, and Enterprise Patient Master Index functionalities.
• Best Practices: Lead the implementation of industry best practices to enhance the robustness, maintainability, and scalability of software applications and databases.
• Collaboration: Work closely with designers and product managers to refine the design and implementation of our products.
• Representation: Act as a representative for the team and product in cross-departmental initiatives involving diverse teams across the organization.
• Mentorship: Guide and mentor team members in software development principles, patterns, processes, and practices.
• Project Management: Oversee individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
• Quality Focus: Ensure high product quality and an excellent user experience.
• Support: Provide development support and resolve escalations and issues, including during off-hours.
