UC Health is hiring a Part-Time Registered Nurse (RN) for the Med Surg Float Pool for the Day Shift at West Chester Hospital. The Float Pool Nurse will support West Chester Hospital's Med Surg Units and Level III Trauma Center, delivering high-quality care to patients based on assessed needs, established standards of care and according to policy and procedures. Additionally, this position offers a $10 premium pay added to the base salary, recognizing the expertise and dedication required for this vital role in providing exceptional patient care.

Education and Experience Requirements:
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
Associate's Degree, minimum required
Bachelor of Science in Nursing, preferred
Current OH RN License
1 year of Med Surg experience (preferred)

Demonstrates critical thinking, accountability, flexibility, and a cooperative attitude in meeting the needs of the unit.
Nursing process is accurately and concisely documented, including evaluation of treatment and in accordance to hospital policy and procedure.
Acts as a resource person and mentor for new personnel, floater, and/or supplemental staff working on the unit.
Assumes responsibility for personal professional development and contributes to the professional development of peers, colleagues, and others.
