Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Partnerships and Growth Lead who is passionate about forging partnerships in this unique way, grounded in experience and driven by a desire to rethink the conventional approaches to business development in the federal sector.

The Role

As a Senior Partnerships and Growth Lead, you will lead thoughtful and strategic growth for a small business scaling quickly into GovCon large business status. You will drive efforts in expanding our network of partners, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring Agile Six remains at the forefront of market demands. Your primary responsibilities will include identifying and tracking the best potential opportunities for the business to pursue, attending industry events, developing and nurturing key relationships with our partners and potential stakeholders, and supporting our proposal, bidding, and market research initiatives.

As part of our Strategy Team, you will collaborate to identify, vet, and develop strategic opportunities. You will also work across departmentsincluding proposals, contracts, finance, and deliveryand play a crucial role in ensuring alignment between our business development efforts and the execution of our projects. Above all, you will be expected to uphold the highest standards of professionalism when representing Agile Six, ensuring every interaction reflects our commitment to integrity, excellence, and our core values.

By building and strengthening Agile Sixs presence in the marketplace as well as our relationships with external partners, you will be fundamental to expanding Agile Six's portfolio in alignment with our core values. This role is ideal for someone with a background in the federal government, and/or an established network within agencies like the VA, CMS, and/or other non-defense government organizations. You will need to embody authentic leadership, exhibit strong negotiation and influencing skills, and demonstrate critical thinking when evaluating potential partnerships.

Responsibilities:

• Industry Engagement: Serve as the public face of Agile Six at industry conferences and events, representing the companys values and mission with authenticity, professionalism, and integrity.
• Customer and Partner Development: Build and foster relationships with potential customers and partners, particularly within the VA, CMS, and other federal non-defense agencies, ensuring alignment with Agile Sixs culture, values, and long-term strategic goals.
• Opportunity Vetting: Work with the Strategy Team to identify and evaluate potential new business opportunities, ensuring they align with Agile Sixs strategic goals and values.
• Strategic Negotiation and Influence: Lead negotiations with partners and clients, influencing and ensuring deals align with our mission of delivering user-centric solutions without compromising our core values.
• Market and Competitive Intelligence: Conduct research to monitor industry trends, competitors, and opportunities to enhance Agile Six's strategic positioning.
• Proposal and Solution Support: Work closely with the strategy team to support proposal development, contributing to market research, analyzing RFPs, and assisting in crafting compelling proposals.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with contracts, finance, and delivery teams to ensure a seamless connection between business development activities and project execution.

Qualifications and Expectations:

• Proven experience (7-10+ years) in business development, partnership management, or a similar strategic role within a technology, digital services, or consulting company.
• Previous experience as a federal government employee at VA, CMS, or similar federal organizations is highly preferred.
• Embody the highest standards of professionalism when representing Agile Six, ensuring all interactions reflect our commitment to integrity and authenticity.
• Understanding of how contracts are crafted and awarded at agencies that Agile Six typically works with, including VA and HHS (CMS, CDC).
• Strong influencing and negotiation skills with the ability to drive outcomes through relationship-building and persuasive communication.
• Deep understanding of market analysis, competitive intelligence, and business strategy within the government or federal services sectors
• Exceptional critical thinking and discernment skills, especially when evaluating potential partnerships and opportunities
• Experience working cross-functionally, collaborating with contracts, finance, and delivery teams to ensure business development efforts align with execution strategies
• Authentic, values-driven approach, with the ability to represent Agile Sixs core values in high-stakes situations
• Willingness to travel regularly within the MD/DC/VA area to attend key industry events and meet partners (travel is anticipated to be approximately 1 day per week of local travel)
• Familiarity with agile software development practices.

The salary for this position is $173,853-$203,524.
