We are seeking an experienced Civil Siteworks Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing siteworks for commercial projects, with extensive experience in underground utilities and earthworks. This role requires excellent leadership, project management, and communication skills to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Management: Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project specifications are met. Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful project completion.
Siteworks Management:
Oversee all siteworks activities, including excavation, grading, and installation of underground utilities. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards. Manage subcontractors and site personnel to ensure efficient and effective project execution.
Budget and Cost Control:
Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising quality. Track project expenses and implement cost-saving measures where possible. Provide regular financial reports to senior management.
Quality Assurance: Implement quality control procedures to ensure all work meets or exceeds project specifications. Conduct regular site inspections and audits to maintain high standards of workmanship. Address any issues or deficiencies promptly to avoid project delays.
Client and Stakeholder Communication:
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project status. Facilitate effective communication between all project stakeholders. Resolve any conflicts or issues that arise during the project lifecycle.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in civil siteworks project management, with a focus on commercial projects, underground utilities, and earthworks.
Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Proficiency in project management software and tools.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
Professional Engineer (PE) license or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
