Job Description:

Mueller, the nation's leading manufacturer of flow control devices for the water and gas distribution industries, has an opening in our Decatur, Illinois operations for a Maintenance Superintendent. The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for all of maintenance within specified region or business unit. The position is responsible for maintaining an efficient maintenance program while maintaining the highest quality.

• Maintaining a safe work environment is priority one


• Maintain line efficiencies, while ensuring that we are producing the highest quality product for our customers


• Maintain a good working relationship with production managers in order to aid in the continued effort of building a strong work environment that is for the betterment of our customers and facility.


• Responsible for the education and strengthening of the team's knowledge and abilities.


• Responsible for improving and administering the current preventative maintenance program that is in place and for the integrity of this program.

Required Experience:


4+ years demonstrated work-related experience with a demonstrated proficiency in the discipline, technology, process related to the position as well as 1 to 2 years of supervisory experience.


Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of work or equivalent combination of education and work related experience.
