Job Description: Provide benefits and retirement counseling and assistance with required paperwork provided to individual employees. Prepare service computation and retirement calculations timely and accurately. Provide Voluntary Early Retirement Authority (VERA), Voluntary Separation Incentive Payment (VSIP), and other workforce restructuring (Reduction in Force (RIF), Directed Reassignment) counseling and implementation support. Counsel and process personnel actions for Death Cases. Counsel and process personnel actions for Disability Retirement Cases. Counsel and prepare paperwork for Federal Erroneous Retirement Coverage Correction Act (FERCCA) cases; counsel information accurately and timely. Maintain working relationships with internal and external organizations.
