Kforce has a client that is seeking a Help Desk in Delray Beach, FL.
Responsibilities:
Help Desk will follow established problem resolution procedures in resolving software problems and applied corrective service to upgrade software
Run diagnostics and determine possible hardware problems and repairs
Follow established problem determination procedures in performing hardware problem analysis
Perform broadcasting, video conferencing and audio/visual support for meetings
Install communications equipment and associated software
Coordinate with other technical staff in identifying and resolving problems that may be related to conflicts between the applications and client or server operating systems or network infrastructure
Responsible for PC Ghost and Virtualized Desktop images
Responsible for Mobility, including but not limited to, laptops, tablets, smartphones
Responsible for printers, copiers, scanners, cameras and other peripherals
As a Help Desk, you will set up all the equipment, meetings can run up to 3 hours
PC imaging laptops, not doing the fixing laptops, not doing major hardware
Basic networking, they have networking specialist if needed
REQUIREMENTS:
Associates degree in Computer Science and a minimum of three (3) years of experience working with microcomputers and LAN environment with emphasis on Desktop applications; Or High School diploma/GED or possess an acceptable general equivalency diploma with five (5) years of experience in Desktop Management, advanced technical tasks, to include the implementation and interconnection of microcomputers, LAN and hardware and software
A+ certification preferred, as well as a valid State of Florida Driver's License and necessary transportation to travel to remote sites
Must possess knowledge of the capacities, limitations of microcomputer, laptop (notebook computer), handheld computer equipment, operating systems and application software and functions
Knowledge of the latest technology and theory of data communications and local area networking
Knowledge of software/hardware that interacts with host computers
Knowledge of LAN concepts and terminologies
Knowledge of MS Windows operating systems
Skill in planning and conducting preliminary training for users
Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions
Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships
Ability to interact with end-users
Must haves: Office 365, Active Directory, Networking
Must be able to work 5 days on site 8-5pm
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
