Job Description:

Position Summary:


A major privately-held company in the utility and construction industry is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their growing team. This position will work closely with other departments to manage various accounting responsibilities.


Responsibilities:

• Provide support to the accounting team of the specific business unit


• Participate in field accounting tasks for the monthly financial close


• Assist in key initiatives to streamline the collection of production data


• Assist in the financial close process


• Prepare journal entries for specific business units, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.


• Manage additional tasks as needed, including supporting the implementation of projects and systems across both corporate and field operations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field


• 1+ years of experience
