To provide excellent food and service to residential students, faculty and staff.
Ensure student housing facilities are well maintained, clean and safe for students.
This is a Dining and Housing hybrid position where typically 75% of the role is working in Dining Services, and 25% is working in University Housing.
During the academic year (typically August through April), this position will maintain the cleanliness of the dining room, checking and scanning I.D. card of students, and accepting various forms of payment for dining services. It will ensure all equipment in the front of the house (FOH) is working properly.
It will ensure that all supplies are on hand by reporting shortages to the FOH manager. It will also monitor students and other patrons entering and exiting the facility.
During the summer (typically May through July), this position will ensure the cleanliness of assigned areas by performing various housekeeping tasks in residence halls. Summer scheduled hours may have required overtime and vary from work hours during the academic year.
Depending on operational need or emergency response, other shifts between Dining and Housing may occur.
