The Intelligent Systems Division develops automated solutions for commercial and government clients in multiple domains including transportation (traffic management, connected automated vehicle), manufacturing robotics, medical prognostics, and communication standards.
Objectives of this Role:
Be an industry leader in embedded systems development.
Build relationships with clients.
Create promotional leads.
Write technical proposals.
Execute projects with high level of quality.
Space Flight Software Development: Lead the development, testing, and maintenance of flight software for space applications.
Cybersecurity Solutions: Lead the development of cybersecurity solutions.
Enhance the security of embedded electronics for transportation, automotive, critical infrastructure, and defense customers.
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:
Business development for embedded systems.
Meet with clients, write proposals, and oversee project execution.
Organization wishes to diversify into other domains that need custom embedded systems.
Hold section and one-on-one meetings with individual staff to monitor and discuss progress towards team and individual career goals.
Lead embedded systems development teams.
Monitor and manage organization financials to ensure progress towards fiscal year revenue goals by prioritizing investments across different market sectors. This includes monitoring section-led project financials, expenses, and staff billing.

Requires a Bachelors degree in Business, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (MS or PhD are desired).
5+ years: Experience developing client relations, identifying leads, writing proposals, and running projects for embedded systems.
5+ years: Industry experience in embedded system development as well as business development experience. Knowledge & applications of efforts in government, automotive, transportation, or space is a plus.
5+ years: Experience or educational background in marketing embedded systems to government or commercial clients.
3-5 years: Proven experience in managing R&D teams with a focus on embedded systems development in government, automotive, transportation, or space. Knowledgeable of modern technical approaches to solving embedded system related challenges.
A valid/clear driver's license is required.
