The Lead Registered Behavior Technician will provide clinical skills instruction and behavior reduction protocols based upon the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis to children with Autism and related developmental disabilities in the clinic setting. The Lead Registered Behavioral Technician will be responsible for drawing upon their experience in the field to educate and train new staff on professional and clinical skills as well as client protocols. The Lead Registered Behavioral Technician will serve as the facilitator for the team of therapists by facilitating communication between all team members, leading team meetings, managing and disseminating client data, and ensuring that all team members have the necessary support, training, and materials to assist the client in reaching their full potential.
RESPONSIBLITIES AND DUTIES: • Conduct skill acquisition and behavior reduction assessments under the supervision of the Behavior Analyst and ABA Interns.
• Provide positive and constructive feedback to staff regarding clinical and professional skills on a regular basis.
• Facilitate day-to-day operations of the team by ensuring that all necessary paperwork, materials, scheduling, and documentation are up to date.
• Update & maintain data collection systems & disseminate information to team.
• Provide direct client care in 1:1 and group settings utilizing a combination of intensive teaching and natural environment training arrangements.
• Follow the prescribed behavioral skill acquisition and behavior reduction protocols.
• Collect, record, and summarize data on observable client behavior.
• Effectively communicate with parents and caregivers regarding client progress as instructed by the Board-Certified Behavior Analyst.
• Maintain client confidentiality.
• Utilize safe and appropriate handing and guidance procedures when working with clients.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work and therapy environment.

• Ability to train staff to fluency on various protocols and treatment techniques using verbal and written explanation, modeling, guided practice, and review of independent performance.

• Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with clients, co-workers, supervisors, and community members.

• Commitment to ongoing training and development as it relates to clinical skills, professional development, ethics, and technology, and training in order to perform job responsibilities to required standard.
• Ability to interpret and implement clinical protocols as written.

At least 6 months of exemplary performance as a Registered Behavior Technician (preferably 1 year)
Bachelor's degree in a related field
