Job Description:

Our Client is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to focus in the Hospitality and Security Industry to sell in the MI, IN, OH, and KY region.


Primary Focus and Key Deliverables:
*Develop and maintain strong business relationships with regional properties, management companies, ownership groups, and other assigned accounts to drive new revenue, as directed by the Sales Director.
*Present the complete range of products to maximize revenue opportunities with each hotel client, emphasizing upselling when engaging with customers.
*Collaborate with the Strategic Accounts team to increase market share within the assigned territory.


Core Responsibilities:
*Identify and close sales with both new and existing hospitality clients.
*Spend the majority of each week in-person with properties in the assigned territory.
*Prepare accurate reports, sales projections, and other required documentation.
*Work closely with the Sales Support Coordinator to ensure market saturation within the designated territory.
*Record customer interactions in the CRM system, maintaining comprehensive documentation.
*Demonstrate strong technical aptitude (training provided) and the ability to learn new technologies.
*Work independently, demonstrating self-motivation and initiative.
*Build and maintain relationships at the regional level with purchasing companies, ownership groups, distributors, and other key accounts.
*Prioritize high-potential clients to maximize growth opportunities.
*Develop quarterly and annual action plans based on identified opportunities; support the sales and technical training needs of existing customers; and address customer complaints with effective solutions.
*Maintain up-to-date knowledge on all product sales and technical aspects.
*Assume additional responsibilities as necessary to support the Sales Department's objectives.


Required Skills and Performance Standards:
*Residence within the assigned territory is required.
*Proven track record in achieving or exceeding sales quotas, ideally in both technical and hospitality sales.
*Highly driven, energetic, and ambitious with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
*Experience in building successful relationships with clients across all levels, from C-suite to front-line managers.
*Familiarity with hospitality technology and integrations (e.g., PMS, mobile, and Cloud solutions) is preferred.
*Established connections with hotel ownership groups or developers are beneficial.
*Willingness to travel up to 90% of the time, with a clean driving record.
*Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) is required.
*Demonstrated success in managing and growing sales revenue.
*Strong business and technical acumen, with the ability to work under minimal supervision.
*Ability to pass product certification tests with an 80% or higher score.


Education and Experience Requirements:
*Minimum of 5 years in sales with a successful history of business development within a regional, multi-state territory.
