Job Summary
The Data Science Analyst will be responsible for performing the duties listed below.
Job Responsibilities
Gather, clean, and integrate large data sets from various sources (databases, APIs, IIoT etc.)
Identify and address data quality issues and ensure data integrity
Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover patterns, trends, and insights
Utilize statistical methods to analyze data and interpret results that support business decisions
Develop and implement predictive models using machine learning algorithms (e.g., regression, classification, clustering)
Optimize and fine-tune models for accuracy and efficiency
Create dashboards and reports to communicate insights clearly to stakeholders
Use data visualization tools (like Tableau, Power BI, or Python libraries) to present findings and make complex data understandable
Work closely with data engineers, business analysts, and Data Scientists to align data initiatives with business needs
Stay updated with the latest data science and machine learning techniques
Suggest and implement process improvements to enhance data collection, analysis, and reporting
Job Requirements
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R
Experience with SQL for database querying
Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
Understanding of statistical analysis, data mining, and machine learning
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
Ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights
Excellent communication skills to present findings to non-technical audiences
Collaborative mindset and the ability to work in cross-functional teams
Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Economics)
Advanced degrees or certifications in data science, machine learning, or business analytics are a plus
1-3 years of experience in data analysis or a similar field
