The hourly rate for this position at Scotts/Hawthorne will generally fall between $20.00 - 35.00 per hour and is paid weekly. Scotts/Hawthorne will consider various factors in determining the actual pay including your skills, qualifications, experience, and geographical location.



We're looking for a Brand Marketing - Assistant Brand Manager Intern to join us at our corporate headquarters in Marysville, OH a suburb just outside of Columbus, OH. Not familiar with Columbus? Visit columbusregion.com/columbus-2020/


Our internship program is designed to cultivate the professional growth of students through a dynamic work environment. Over the course of 12 weeks, you will join one of our brand teams and have the opportunity to experience what it's like to be an Assistant Brand Manager. From Day 1, you will be an integral part of the team with expanding responsibility over the course of the internship. Further, you will also have the chance to learn through coaching and mentorship. We are committed to your development but will also rely on you to bring new knowledge, new ideas and innovation into our organization.



What you'll do in this role:



The goal of the Brand Marketing - Assistant Brand Manager internship is to provide you with a learning experience, while allowing you to showcase your abilities in support of the Brand team. You'll have the opportunity to:

• Lead key business projects throughout the summer, refining and demonstrating your strategic, analytical and creative capabilities.
  
  


• Assist your brand teams with key business activities that influence the success of the business. such as Marketing Communications, Research, and Sales Support.
  
  


• Experience the SMG culture and embodiment of Enterprise Leadership.
  
  

What you'll need to be successful:

• A top talent in your first year of an MBA Program.
  
  


• 1-2 years of relevant work experience preferred.
  
  


• Intellectual curiosity with the desire and drive to learn more.
  
  


• Possess excellent visionary, strategic, and leadership skills.
  
  


• Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication.
