Title: Business Information Developer Consultant - HEDIS Analytics
Location: Candidates must reside within 50 miles or 1-hour commute each way of a relevant Elevance Health location. Hybrid; onsite 1-2 days/week, WFH 3-4 days/week

The Business Information Developer Consultant is responsible for developing and executing more complex data mining analyses.
How you will make an impact:
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Determines how decision support systems will provide the data required to make effective business decisions.
Performs modeling of information sources and flows.
May coordinate the activities of a project team and monitors project schedules and costs for own projects.
Develops strategic report applications from the Data Warehouse.
Establishes and maintains excellent knowledge of data warehouse database design, data definitions, system capabilities, programming languages, and data integrity issues.
Develops and supports complex data warehouse-related applications for business areas requiring design and implementation of database tables. The majority of time will be spent programming.
Manages multiple contracts to ensure regulatory and state reporting and tracks, identifies issues, reviews, and analyzes data for contracts.
Maintains HEDIS timelines used to support the Medicare project plan and manages all measures and population reports for all Medicare projects.
Supports state and regulatory reporting and manages all software and audit support.
Minimum Requirements:
Requires a BS/BA degree and a minimum of 4 years related experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:
HEDIS knowledge including HEDIS value sets and specifications experience strongly preferred.
Experience with HEDIS Certified Software strongly preferred.
Experience with Tableau strongly preferred.
PC, spreadsheet, and database skills strongly preferred.
Experience with relational databases and knowledge of query tools and statistical software including SQL and Excel strongly preferred.
Experience manipulating large sets of data strongly preferred.
Strong analytical, organizational, presentation, and problem-solving skills strongly preferred.
Experience with government-based insurance programs preferred.
