Direct, lead, manage and coach the strategic and daily activities of the regional sales team, pursuit of prospecting, engaging, and winning net new customers; growing/retaining existing customers; interfacing with the sales leadership team to develop and execute the sales strategy; collaborate with your regional operations team; and provide mentoring, training, and organizational support to exceed corporate growth goals for your regional sales team.
Job Responsibilities
Be a key strategic leadership team member of the Local Sales team
Be responsible to GAIN, GROW, GUARD revenue initiatives to help the region achieve and surpass sales goals
Set up and enforce a clear direction and guidelines for the regional sales team's goals, activity, and engagement (performance management)
Help team members develop individual sales success strategies and plans
Lead and coach the day-to-day activity of the regional sales team
Lead the regional sales team with growth strategies within our designated sales focus verticals
Pipeline & activity management with the regional sales team
Provide mentoring, coaching, leadership, and support to your team, as required by the group
Actively participate in sales calls, customer meetings and CBRs
Coach, lead and teach a customer centric sales approach with prospects
Perform other strategic duties, aligned with corporate projects and key initiatives
Collaborate with sales training to effectively train and develop your sales team
Collaborate with RVPs/RDOs, Pricing, Customer Experience, Customer Service and other corporate leadership team members
Job Requirements:
Possess strong strategic, leadership, coaching, communication and managerial skills to direct, teach and manage the regional sales team
Possess strong communication skills both oral and written and organizational competency
Individual must be organized, detail-oriented and have strong communication skills
Possess the ability to perform in-depth analysis of operational and financial performance and present findings in a clear and concise manner using spreadsheets and graphs
A true self started with high levels of energy who is motivated, passionate, persistent and a true competitor who loves winning and hates losing.
Must be able to use the Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM
Understand TFI leverage over competitor products, services, and technology
Possesses ability to identify issues and provide solutions and is a problem solver
Builds strategic relationship with focus on customer pipeline and key decision making
Possesses strong knowledge on industry trends and financial impact
U.S. citizen or otherwise authorized to work in the U.S.
Must be currently located in the same geographic location as the position or being willing to self-relocate
Bachelor's Degree not required but preferred
