Software Engineering Intern

PRADCO Outdoor Brands is looking to add a Software Engineering Intern to its Moultrie team. This position will be focused on implementing new features and creating solutions for the Moultrie platform under guidance of more senior engineers. As a team member, you will work cross-functionally with Product Development, Engineering, Customer Service, Marketing, and other departments to ensure the completion of visions and timelines set by the business. During your internship you will gain experience in working with a professional high caliber software development team, working in an agile development environment using leading edge microsoft technologies.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Design, and build testable C# code
  • Help maintain existing documentation
  • Unit testing
  • Work with the dev team, product owners, and stakeholders to get clarification on business requirements and then implement solutions including code development
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Completed coursework with a focus on actual software developement
  • Completed projects written in C# or Java
  • Working knowledge of object-oriented programming
  • Using source control
  • Must be able to work in office located in Birmingham, AL at least 3 days per week
PREFERRED SKILLS:
  • Visual Studio
  • .NET Framework or .NET Core
  • Agile methodologies (Kanban, Scrum, etc.)
  • Has worked on team projects
