Job Description:

Front Desk and Billing AssistantDuties and ResponsibilitiesPatient Services: Greet and register patients in a friendly and professional manner. Verify patient account and collect payments in full. Schedule and confirm appointments. Coordinate patient intake from referring agencies and creating patient account. Answer and direct phone calls, taking accurate messages and transferring calls as needed. Assist with patient inquiries and concerns. Maintain patient confidentiality.Financial and AR Tasks: Collect and process payments, including credit card transactions. Prepare and process daily deposits. Maintain accurate patient records and accounts. Review and reconcile patient ledgers and balances. Assist with billing, data entry and collections, including making outbound calls to patients. Prepare and mail patient statements and notices. Process and follow up on payments. Order office supplies and maintain inventory.General Office Duties: Maintain a clean and organized workspace. Sort and distribute mail. Assist with document scanning, monitor general email account. Assist with various administrative tasks as needed.Team Player: Provide excellent patient-customer service. Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of daily work. Demonstrate respect for all team members, patients, and visitors. Communicate effectively and professionally. Be proactive and efficient in problem-solving. Collaborate with team members to achieve shared goals. Maintain a positive and supportive work environment. Participate in performance improvement activities. Maintain regular and punctual attendance. JOB QUALIFICATIONS-Full-TimeFront Desk and Billing Assistant candidates must meet the following minimum job qualifications: Previous experience in a medical office or billing company. Bilingual in Mandarin Chinese. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks. Detail-oriented and accurate. Professional demeanor and positive attitude.
