Pressman position is to fulfill the duties required of the Lead Pressman. Would be providing support on the Preventive Maintenance (PM) as well as helping control, Print Quality, Waste Management, and Safety. This is under the guidance of the company. A pressman has to be able to provide input for the purpose of troubleshooting and make recommendations to correct a particular problem.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITY
Specific duties include:
Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
Insure quality standards.
Performs maintenance as trained and instructed.
Roll Tending - Color Setting - Folder Operation - Stack down - Plate making
All other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION/SKILL REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent and prior experience in a work environment.
INTER-RELATIONSHIPS
Teamwork with coworkers and supervisors.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Work flexible shifts including nights, holidays, and weekends.
NEEDED ATTRIBUTES
Mechanical ability and troubleshooting. Good visual and observation skills.
