As a Lead Nurse, you will be responsible for overseeing the administration of IV hydration, vitamins, minerals, and customized blends to help clients achieve their health and wellness goals. This is a rewarding opportunity to use your nursing expertise to positively impact the lives of those in our community.**Responsibilities:**- Administer IV hydration and injections; properly mixing IV bags, monitoring vital signs, ect.- Assess client needs and educating them on the benefits of our services and products. Informing clients about our memberships and packages while encouraging them to return.- Working with the management team to make sure we have all the medical supplies, IV bags, ingredients, etc. for daily IV operations- Provide education and support to clients and staff on wellness and health promotion- Communicates directly with supervising physician and management.- Maintain accurate documentation of client information and treatment plans- Adhere to all regulatory guidelines and best practices in nursing. Maintaining strict patient confidentiality in compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)- Train, coach and support a small team of part time nurses to be sure Ulu's protocols and procedures are followed.**Requirements:**- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in IV therapy- Strong IV skills and knowledge of infusion therapy. - Minimum of 2 years experience administering IV/IM injections in a clinic highly preferred- One or more years in retail, food service, or spa experience highly preferred.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care, great bed side manner.- Knowledge of health and wellness principles- BLS certification required- Willing to undergo a background check-Ability to use computer equipment and software including work processing, database management, spreadsheet applications and electronic mail. Proficiency with programs such as Google drive, Excel, Microsoft Office Suite, etc. Working Conditions:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to perform grasping, talking, hearing, seeing, and repetitive motions. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.May be required to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time.
