The Medical Society of the State of New York, a statewide public health and advocacy organization, seeks an energetic self-starter for its VP for Public Health.
Familiarity with public health issues such as reproductive healthcare, elder and palliative care, substance use and misuse, immunizations, and physician wellness required. Candidate should have experience with policy development, as well as advocacy work with State Legislature and state public health agencies. Strong analytical and writing skills with grant writing/implementation experience a plus. Knowledge of continuing medical education process is helpful.
Successful candidate must have a bachelor's or graduate degree, plus three to five years working and advocating in a public health field required.
Salary Range: $90,000 - $110,000 annually.
