The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, enjoys the outdoors, and works well both individually and in a team environment.EMS will provide the right candidate with product-specific training and access to all necessary resources to become an expert in the requirements of the role.This role offers significant opportunities for growth within a dynamic and growing organization.Key AccountabilitiesManage the installation and maintenance of various types of fountains and aeration systems that are critical in maintaining the health of aquatic ecosystems.Respond to client requests promptly and professionally.Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with fountains and aeration systems and resolve issues efficiently.Perform routine maintenance on fountains and aeration systems in accordance with maintenance contracts.Assist in training and oversight of aquatic technicians regarding all aspects of fountain and aeration system maintenance.Communicate professionally with clients regarding their needs.Apply EMS best practices and adhere to standard operating procedures to deliver service safely and effectively.Learn core principles of lake and pond management, with a specific focus on aeration.Always maintain a professional demeanor.Preferred QualificationsExperience working with electricity and mechanical components is required.Experience operating small watercraft is strongly preferred.Experience operating trucks and trailers is strongly preferred.Experience in the environmental and/or aquatic resource management industry is preferred, but not required.Experience in a field service and/or manual labor role is strongly preferred.A valid drivers license with a clean driving record is required.Ability to lift 50lbs is required.CompensationThe Aquatic Technician is a full-time hourly position, and is eligible for benefits including health insurance, access to 401k, paid time off and annual bonus based on performance.
