Compensation: $17.50 Hourly
The Transporter is responsible for the transportation of consumers.
This a part-time position working 20 hours weekly on Monday-Friday 1:30 pm to 5:30 pm.
Responsibilities include:
* Drives within posted speed limits with passengers in their seatbelts while vehicle is in motion
* Obeys safety regulations and traffic laws
* Requires working in a team environment
* Attends 20 or more hours of continuing education per year, passes initial/annual physical, and passes required classes such as CALM and CPR
* Reports and schedules any vehicle maintenance needs
* Reports any emergency breakdowns or accidents per company policy
* Completes vehicle inspection logs
* May provide support with conflict resolution and support members when crises arise
* Communicates any updates regarding members with supervisor and other staff
* Assist with developing daily transportation routes and schedules
* Other duties as assigned

* Obey safety regulations and traffic laws
* Respect person's served confidentiality and interact in a professional manner
* Report any emergency breakdown or accident as required to transportation manager
* Follow agency van usage guidelines
Other Responsibilities
* Attend all trainings as required by Compass Health Network, Accreditors, and Funders
* Other miscellaneous duties as assigned
High School/GED preferred
* Ability to possess cognitive, organizational, and emotional maturity to deal effectively with multiple stressors required
* At least one-year experience in customer service or mental health-related field preferred
* Experience with management of transportation programs preferred
* Excellent communication skills and computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite) preferred
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: Must have a valid Class E Missouri driver's license or ability to obtain after 60 days or Must have a valid Class E Missouri driver's license upon hire (Clubhouse only)
