Western Reserve Pure Water in Cleveland is searching for a Membrane Technician, this position is responsible for all aspects of inspection and readying of membranes as they come into the warehouse, in accordance with applicable codes and company policies. The Membrane technician will also serve as a back-up regen technician, and assist in the warehouse as needed. This position must be able to communicate clearly while representing the company in a professional, positive, helpful and dependable manner.

Responsibilities:
Record “pre-clean” and “post-clean” filter performance data in a computer database.
Remove RO filters from the test skid and load them into the cleaning skid.
Provides excellent housekeeping practices in RO maintenance area and tool storage area to include timely cleanup of work area after each task is completed.
Heat seat the cleaned filters in a plastic bag and place them in new boxes for return to the customer.
Assist with installation and repair/service of water treatment equipment in company plant and warehouse.
Use proper material handling techniques for chemicals and hazardous materials.
Accurate and legible completion of all required paperwork, including timesheets, material orders and cleaning reports.
Provide telephone technical support when necessary
Conduct self in a positive and cooperative manner, and communicate in an open and positive way with both customers and coworkers
Provide assistance and/or training to coworkers and other departments whenever possible to support company-wide goal of exceeding customer’s expectations
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Must maintain a valid Driver’s License
Must be able to successfully pass a DOT Physical, & DOT Drug Screen.
Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background check per Company requirements
Must be at least 21 years of age or older, and be able to successfully pass, and maintain, an acceptable driving record check to be insurable by the Company in order to operate a company vehicle
Must be able to lift a minimum of 100lbs on a repetitive basis
1-2 years of service technician experience preferred with direct commercial water treatment equipment
Ability to thrive and multi-task in an active working environment including but not limited to: bending, twisting, reaching overhead, crawling, working in tight spaces, lifting and pulling (at times over 100 pounds)
Must remain physically capable, with or without reasonable accommodation, to perform the duties required of this position
Solid verbal and written communication skills
Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills
Ability to self-direct activities and manage time to ensure productivity
Ability to thrive and multi-task in an active working environment
Demonstrated competency in Windows, Microsoft Office, and data network software
Demonstrated excellence in communication and customer service skills.
