What You’ll Do:
Respond to all Wintrust employee and family mortgage inquiries immediately via phone, email, or text as in inside loan originator in the Glen Ellyn Consumer Direct branch
Exercise high level of integrity, confidentially and honesty due to the sensitive nature of the customer base.
Effectively use technology tools to manage inquiries and pipeline.
Complete a financial needs analysis and assess individual needs of each customer with expertise.
Well versed in all mortgage products for both purchase and refinance transactions. Ie…first time homebuyer, conventional, fha, va, jumbo, portfolio etc…
Research mortgage guidelines and structure loan options for customers based on their financial and personal needs.
Present customers with mortgage options; provide guidance to ensure the customer is able to make an informed decision.
Effectively communicate mortgage options both verbally and in writing to all levels of employees and their families within the Wintrust Enterprise.
Assist customers in completing a mortgage application and all necessary loan disclosures.
Obtain required documentation from customers in a timely fashion in order to submit their loan application for processing.
Monitor status of the loan application and follow up with customer as needed to obtain additional documentation and provide status updates.
Effectively work with internal departments and Loan Officer Assistant/s to ensure the loan is processed, underwritten, and closed in an efficient and timely manner. Effectively manage the pipeline.
Manage day to day transactions and relationships with Wintrust employees and their families.
Build a referrals from employees and their families by providing an exceptional mortgage experience.
Other duties as assigned.
This is a salary plus commission position.
Qualifications:
Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Mortgage Origination Experience
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication (both written and oral), and telephone etiquette skills.
Exceptional aptitude for math and financial analysis.
Thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
Must be a self-starter, motivated and energetic.
Must have strong time management skills with the ability to determine priorities and meet deadlines.
Demonstrate integrity, ethics, confidentiality, accountability, responsibility, initiative and teamwork.
Ability to work independently and take direction.
Must possess a working knowledge of computers to include MS Word, Excel and Internet.
Must meet all NMLS requirements.
