We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our manufacturing team in Olathe, KS. As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of equipment and machinery in our manufacturing facility. Responsibilities:
Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians and repairers
Plan, schedule, and coordinate maintenance activities to minimize downtime and optimize production
Troubleshoot and repair equipment and machinery to ensure proper functioning
Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to prevent equipment failures
Monitor and report on maintenance metrics to improve efficiency and productivity
Collaborate with production teams to ensure smooth and efficient operations
Manage and maintain inventory of spare parts and supplies
Adhere to safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment for all team members
Requirements:
2+ years of experience in maintenance supervision or related field
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment
Proven leadership and management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a physically demanding environment
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or technical certification in a related field preferred
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Ability to work varied shifts, including nights and weekends, as needed
