As a Director, HR Consulting, you will partner with our business leaders to attract, retain, and develop Hilton's most important asset, our Team Members. On the HR Consulting team reporting to VP, HR Consulting you will lead strategic planning and execution for talent development, management, and organizational design within the Development Organization. Your role encompasses overseeing HR advisory activities, driving talent-related projects and initiatives, and ensuring effective talent development across the business. Additionally, you will contribute to the enhancement of Hilton's HR toolkit and global talent practices.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.
What your day-to-day will be like:
Align HR strategy and processes with the business' strategic and operating goals.
Craft short and long-term HR plans and initiatives to drive business strategies and promote a unified company culture.
Build focused organizational development plans with your business partners, including workforce planning, talent management, performance management and organizational planning.
Utilize HR planning models to identify competency, knowledge and talent gaps and run programs to fill gaps and build a strong talent pool.
Execute special projects as directed by the VP, HR Consulting for the Group and implement Human Resources policies and procedures.
Formally and informally, lead the HR team, building organizational capability and effectiveness; indirectly lead other staff members conducting projects to support the enterprise.
Ensure mandated compliance on all legal and financial requirements as per relevant legislation and Hilton Worldwide policy.
Identify critical areas for the analysis, development, and implementation of integrated HR solutions that support your client's global business strategy.
Manage status updates and build strategic creative presentations aimed at informing and engaging partners.
Advise on all areas of HR support.
How you will collaborate with others:
Support your key clients regarding organizational structure or job changes, and make recommendations to ensure consistency for position descriptions, and salaries.
Inspire a culture of accountability.
Ensure positive partnerships with HR Center of Excellence (COE) groups, including Benefits, Compensation, Team Member Relations, Learning and Development, Recruiting, and HR Analytics to provide client solutions.
Partner with Legal and Finance departments and governmental agencies to respond to information requests.
Support business partners regarding organizational structure or job changes, applying your analytical experience to make recommendations on talent management, succession, turnover reporting, position descriptions, salaries, and job changes.
What deliverables you will take ownership of:
Building partnerships with key stakeholders, you will gain deep insights into short and long-term business objectives. Your input will help shape business strategy by evaluating the people-related risks and opportunities, leveraging organizational strengths, and addressing constraints within the current framework.
WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT
You have these minimum qualifications:
Seven (7) years of experience working in a large, global, corporate, matrixed environment
Four (4) years of management experience
Three (3) years of experience developing HR strategy that is aligned with the critical priorities of the business
Three (3) years of consulting, project management (PM), or Change Management experience
Travel as needed
It would be useful if you have:
BA/BS Bachelor's Degree or MS/MA Master's Degree
Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) Certification
Broad global understanding of relevant employment legislation
Experience with Oracle, PeopleSoft, and Success Factors
