Pay Range: $22 - 25/hour
Target Start Date: January 2nd, 2025

What You'll Be Doing:
The IT Support Specialist will provide front-line support for all technology-related issues and requests. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, excellent communication abilities, and a dedication to providing exceptional customer service. This role will participate in key IT/OT upgrade projects and support roll-out of new services. This role will also cross-train with existing IT staff and act as backup to maintain continuity of critical IT support to the business.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
Technical Support: Provide timely and effective support to employees via phone, email, and in-person interactions. Troubleshoot and maintain hardware, software, and network-related issues. Incident Management: Record, track, and document incidents and requests in the ticketing system, ensuring timely resolution and closure. Hardware/Software Setup: Install, configure, and maintain computers, peripherals, operating systems, and software applications for new and existing employees. User Training: Provide guidance and training to end-users on basic system and application use, best practices, and security protocols. Network Support: Assist with network troubleshooting, including wireless, LAN, and VPN issues, as needed. Security Compliance: Assist in maintaining compliance with IT policies and procedures, particularly relating to security and data protection. Assist with CMMC compliance requirements. Asset Management/Maintenance: Maintain inventory, documentation and maintenance plan of IT/OT assets, including computers, mobile devices, and software licenses. Collaboration: Work closely with the System Administrator. Cybersecurity Specialist and Sr. Developer to support larger IT/OT projects and initiatives. Documentation: Create and update technical documentation, knowledge base, and troubleshooting guides for internal use. Research: Investigate industry trends and emerging technologies and make recommendations to optimize IT value delivery and support continuous improvement initiatives. Other tasks and projects as assigned.
