How You Will Make an Impact?
The Regional Master Scheduler will collaborate with all levels of the company to plan, set, and support a Sales and Operations Production plan.
The Nuts and Bolts
Act as a liaison in-between global/ corporate teams and manufacturing sites to fully understand the challenges at the plant level and then escalate to Global for resolutions if needed.
Coordinate with all master schedulers at plant level to perform the production scheduling to maximize on-time delivery, productivity, inventory turns, gross profit, etc; utilize level loading practices for production lines by using plant loading tools and lean methodology.
Coordinate with all master schedulers at plant level to ensure the compliance of Scheduling Policies, such as FreezeZone, CD date, overscheduling, hold codes, customer allocation, and aging chassis.
Coordinate with plant to move up or re-adjust the schedule for strategic customers or urgent orders. and provide feedback to Global periodically.
Lead as the subject matter expert on the Advanced Production Scheduling tool, PlanetTogether, and support each plant in effective use of the tools provided.
Collaborate with the sales department to set long term production schedules and commitments for high volume fleet orders.
Communicate with respective departments on any schedule changes that will adversely affect overall schedule execution or customer expectation.
Work directly with the Materials management team and fellow associates to ensure that raw materials and customer supplied items are available to support the production schedule.
Conduct functional training for Schedulers in rolling out communication and provide subsequent training that is a result of system/process changes and/or enhancements.
Create and conduct any necessary trainings.
Required Credentials
7+ years of experience with production scheduling in a manufacturing setting
Ability to meet objectives by influencing and engaging others across multiple teams.
JDE EnterpriseOne experience or other MRP/ERP system utilized to reference part information.
Bachelor's Degree or related experience preferred

Ability to travel 10-25% of the time to other domestic locations
Working in an office environment in a seated position a minimum of eight hours per day is required. Individuals may need to sit or stand as needed. May require walking primarily on a level surface for periodic periods throughout the day. Reaching above shoulder heights, below the waist or Lifting as required to file documents or store materials throughout the workday. Proper lifting techniques required. May include lifting up to 25 pounds for files, computer printouts on occasion.
The performance of this position may occasionally require exposure to the manufacturing areas where under certain areas require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses with side shields and mandatory hearing protection. Primary environment: ambient room temperatures, lighting and traditional office equipment as found in a typical office environment.
