Job Purpose:
Our Senior Architect will contextualize the business strategy and design and build end-to-end solutions across the Veritiv enterprise. This role will contribute to product design and delivery in the Technology Solutions team and perform systems management and integration functions.
Job Responsibilities:
• Help transform software delivery within Veritiv
• Proactively seek out new enhancements and provide demonstrations/adaptive tooling
• Demonstrate leadership in owning the development and delivery of adaptive solutions
• Analyze technology industry and business and determine their potential applicability to Veritiv
• Contribute to and validate project scoping, general design and business case. Ensure business case follow up (value realization.)
• Ensure handover to project teams
• Maintain architecture referential (business process, application, data) regarding various solutions
• Collect and prioritize business demands from Business Partners and Support functions
• Develop, in partnership with other IT leaders, the technology strategy for Veritiv systems that are centered on standard and sustainable solutions
Additional Responsibilities & Qualifications:
• Contribute to deliver strategy for Supply Chain business to position Veritiv as a digital business and redefine customer experience
• Leverage new technologies to drive innovation
• Design and support business applications aligning to Veritiv Architecture Methods, Work Packages and Delivery Process
• Challenge and redirect architectural decisions that do not support Veritiv's desired architectures or are not aligned with general and domain architecture principles
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop the case for strategic investments necessary to support architectural decisions
• Coordinate with other team members and outside vendors in solution design and delivery
• Focus on streamlining of IT solutions to support business process and provide value add suggestions to improve processes
• Evaluate opportunities for automation across supply chain and procurement business processes
Work Experience:
• 10-15 years of related job experience.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, work under pressure, and adapt to sudden changes in the work environment.
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently.
• Basic experience of simple office/operational systems.
• Excellent verbal, written, people, and diplomacy skills are required.
• Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud Replenishment Planning preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong customer service skills (friendly, courteous and helpful).
• Strong planning and organization skills are required.
Education:
• Bachelor's Degree
• Master's Degree Preferred
