Your new company HAYS Recruitment is currently partnered with a rapidly growing NYC-based residential owner/operator. With over 7,000 units in their residential portfolio and backed by a large investment firm, this role will allow you to work alongside some of the most experienced individuals in the multifamily space.
Your new role Based out of the company's corporate office in midtown, the Assistant Property Manager will support the entirety of the 6,500+ unit rental portfolio. The Assistant Property Manager will have administrative responsibilities including resident correspondence, data entry, coordinating repairs on work orders, ensuring leases are compliant with all NYC agencies including HUD and Section 8 assets.
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for the Assistant Property Manager position in NYC, candidates will possess the following:
2+ years of experience as an Assistant Property Manager or Administrator working for a multifamily owner/operator
Knowledge of DHCR and HPD regulations
Well-versed in Microsoft Office suites
Yardi experience a plus
Excellent communication skills (oral & written)
Recent college graduates with internship experience are welcome to apply
