Type: Full-Time
Purpose: Train and certify company employees and agency associates on all warehouse equipment and procedures. Maintain the appropriate records and reports required for daily shipping inventory control. Monitor and coach employee job performance. Drive process improvement, customer service, and cost reduction. Ensure an orderly and safe workplace. Uphold company policies and procedures to support safe, quality food supply.

Supervisory Responsibilities: Directly supervise distribution employees. Responsibilities include training employees, assigning and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints, and resolving problems in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
Education and/or Experience: Associate’s degree (AA) or equivalent from a two-year college of technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Equipment: Propane and electric forklift, slip sheet attachment, pallet inverter, personal computer workstation, printer, telephone, calculator, stretch wrap machine, hand jack, pallets, dock leveler, battery charger, propane tank, and packaging equipment.
Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write and speak effectively in groups and is capable to write routine reports and correspondence.
Mathematical Skills: Must understand units that are used in the warehouse and perform calculations to convert between units (e.g. cases and pallets).
Computer Skills: Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, NAV, TMS, and WMS.
