As an Expediter you will:
Work safely under functional safety guidelines such as PPE and equipment interaction.
Lift up to 35lbs
Coordinates with Customer Service, Engineering, Shipping and Production, as well as outside vendors, to assure smooth operation and on time delivery of material and product to various stages.
Confers with production personnel to resolve problems affecting production schedules.
Attends Production meetings to report status of work in progress and coordinate with other departments to assure efficiency of workflow.
Prepares work schedules and expedites workflow.
Maintain work order integrity including quantity accuracy, splits and lot control and sizing.
Contacts departments to verify movement of goods on specified date.
Arranges for distribution of materials upon arrival.
Contacts appropriate departments to requisition materials, pieces, assemblies etc., necessary to meet on-time production.
Moves product between departments using carts or dollies, or forklift.
This is a Full-Time 1st Shift Opportunity.
Pay Rate: $25-30/hr
The ideal candidate will have:
ITAR Compliant
High school degree preferred
Forklift Experience
Lean manufacturing experience or background. Strong problem-solving skills
Floor Experience
ERP system reporting and analytical capabilities
