RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in Arlington, VA that is seeking a Senior Internal Auditor.

Responsibilities:

• The Senior Internal Auditor will plan and conduct internal audits to evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and compliance with policies and regulations


• Develop audit programs and testing procedures relevant to risk and test objectives


• Identify and communicate issues raised, offering recommended solutions relevant to business and risk


• Prepare comprehensive audit reports that clearly articulate findings and recommendations


• Follow up on audit recommendations to ensure timely implementation of corrective actions


• Collaborate with management to develop and implement effective internal controls


• The Senior Internal Auditor will stay current with industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure compliance


• Provide guidance and support to junior auditors and other team members

REQUIREMENTS:

• To be considered for this position, candidates must have experience in a similar role, or they must possess significant knowledge, experience, and abilities to successfully perform the responsibilities listed


• Relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
