RESPONSIBILITIES:

A client with Kforce in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Senior Implementation Conversion Analyst to join their team remotely. This position will be supporting RowePrice Migration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Senior Implementation Conversion Analyst will develop, maintain, and enhance applications using COBOL, JCL, Omni, DB2 SQL


• Manage and schedule jobs on Linux systems, ensuring efficient and timely execution


• Create and optimize scripts to automate processes and improve operational efficiency


• Collaborate closely with business analysts, project managers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and provide effective technical solutions


• As a Senior Implementation Conversion Analyst, you will perform detailed testing, debugging, and quality assurance tasks to ensure accuracy, reliability, and performance of applications


• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues as they arise, providing timely support to meet project and operational deadlines


• Document code, processes, and project details for reference and future maintenance


• Through data analysis, product mapping and interviews, gathers forms and data files from customer and assesses requirements for software utilization and discusses any software customization requirements with programming team


• Creates data maps and transaction workflow documents showing exactly how every field of information will be converted; The data mapping forms the technical specification for the conversion and, in some cases, may generate code; Shares data maps with programmers, clients, and others as appropriate to ensure successful conversion. Refines mapping through iterative validation with client to refine and confirm requirements; Obtains formal customer acceptance of results

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Business or related field or the equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience


• Advanced expertise in Omni, JCL, COBOL, Linux, job scheduling, scripting, and DB2 SQL


• Possess a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills


• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team


• Experience in job scheduling and performance optimization within Linux environments

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Micro Focus COBOL or similar COBOL environments


• Demonstrated expertise in testing and quality assurance practices


• Knowledge of retirement services and/or financial services industry standards and practices

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
